It is time for women to take their rightful place at the table, at every table. Women offer unique insights, unique perspective and unique experience to each conversation and decision-making process. They add value and insight that enables improved dialogues and better outcomes. I look forward to seeing more and more Ukrainian women offering their incredible value at every corporate board table and in every leadership position. I am pleased to support women in this effort and pleased to be a member of Women on Boards Ukraine.

Experts say companies with more than 30% female executives are more likely to outperform companies that don’t. My experience proves that male and female professionals are stronger together. Business is better when it is led by the brightest minds from both halves of the global talent pool.

The significance of women's roles within the Ukrainian business landscape is on a pronounced rise. While it is important to acknowledge that war and a complicated procedure for men to leave the country play a role, they are by no means the sole reasons behind this shift. Presently, more and more women are taking the stage at global events, actively engaging in discussions, negotiations, and more.

Yet, the real task at hand is to seize this momentum and consistently bolster this trend. This is a responsible moment to elevate women, not only to grow, but also achieve remarkable success. In light of this, the Women on Boards Ukraine initiative stands out as a great initiative that could help women ascend as leaders. That is why I have decided to support and join the Women on Boards Ukraine initiative, recognizing it as a significant enrichment of the business landscape.

The importance of women's role in business in Ukraine is increasing. Of course, it’s worth admitting that war and a complicated procedure for men to leave the country are not among the last reasons for that. Thus, nowadays we could see more and more women speaking at global events, participating in discussions, negotiations, etc. Nevertheless, we have to use the opportunity and continue to support this trend. Therefore, that’s a very responsible moment for women – to help them to grow and to succeed. The Women on Boards Ukraine initiative is, without doubt, a great initiative that could help women to expand as leaders. That being so I decided to support and join this initiative.

Women's participation on corporate boards in Ukraine is not just a matter of gender equality; it's a strategic imperative for Ukraine’s progress as a nation. I believe that by harnessing the diverse talents and perspectives of women, we can drive innovation, enhance decision-making, and ultimately, achieve greater economic prosperity for our country. Having deep ties to Ukraine I can unequivocally recognize the long-standing need for a professional women's community in the country. This initiative, WoBua, is a highly anticipated endeavor that I am confident will bring together accomplished women, uniting them under the common purpose of advancing corporate governance and contributing positively to the future of Ukraine.

I am very pleased to join WoBua to support women’s participations in the boards in Ukraine. Research – including IFC’s – continues to demonstrate that gender diversity in the boardroom boosts financial performance, promotes better decision-making processes and improved environment, social and governance (ESG) practices. Women business leaders have an important role to play in the resilience and growth of Ukraine’s businesses.

I am especially excited about my involvement with Women on Boards in Ukraine. By providing mentorship and guidance to aspiring women leaders in this program, they are not only shaping individual careers but also catalyzing broader positive change.
