During URC2025 in Rome, Women on Boards Ukraine hosted a closed-door lunch with Marta Kos, European Commissioner for Enlargement. In an atmosphere of warmth and trust, our community members came together for a meaningful conversation.

📌 We spoke openly about gender equality, career barriers, glass ceilings, and the promotion of women into leadership roles. It was a space for sharing personal journeys, challenges, and visions for change. Marta also shared her own path toward a successful career in diplomacy and public service — openly and sincerely.

🌍 We also explored Ukraine’s current challenges and its path forward. Commissioner Kos shared insights into the EU’s priorities, support mechanisms, and her personal commitment to both Ukraine’s future and women’s place in shaping it.
