The Ukraine Recovery Conference in Berlin brought together political and business leaders to devise strategic yet concrete plans for Ukraine's recovery and rebuilding. The conference featured significant panels and presentations along with numerous opportunities for networking and discussions. Many members and supporters of the Women on Boards Ukraine (WoBUA) community participated in the event, including Tatiana Furtseva, Natalie Jaresko, Sonya Soutus, Olga Ustinova, Olena Malynska, Kateryna Rybachenko, Yulia Badritdinova, Olena Voloshyna, Lisa Kaestner, Anna Derevyanko, Andy Hunder, Aivaras Abromavicius, Sevki Acuner and Matteo Patrone.

Key discussions highlighted the essential role of the private sector in Ukraine's economic growth, human capital recovery, and EU accession. The conference emphasized integrating gender perspectives across all areas.

Among many other important topics such as macro-economic stability, infrastructure, climate protection, healthcare, and green recovery, one of the major highlights was the launch of the "Alliance for Gender-Responsive and Inclusive Recovery," a collaborative initiative aimed at ensuring that gender equality and the empowerment of women are central to Ukraine's Recovery. Women on Boards Ukraine, representing a community of professional Ukrainian women, strongly supports the initiative.

Together, we are committed to building a future where gender equality is at the forefront of Ukraine's resurgence.
