The discussion featured Dr Wendy Dobson, Senior Managing Director at FTI Consulting, and Holly Pettingale, Senior Director at FTI Consulting, both of whom have been at the forefront of embedding ESG frameworks within corporate strategies.

Moderated by Olga Bielkova, an honorary member of Women on Boards Ukraine, the session concluded with her encouraging attendees to reflect on, “How can I organize my work and what initiatives can I introduce according to ESG principles?” This emphasized the focus on the practical application of ESG in governance and business strategy.

The session underscored the importance of board members managing and mitigating non-financial risks through comprehensive ESG frameworks, focusing on environmental, social, and governance factors. This involves not only aligning with international frameworks that mandate consideration of human rights and sustainability but also ensuring that these practices are tailored to fit the Ukrainian context.
