Women on Boards Ukraine together with Olena Makarenko, member of WoB Ukraine and Partner at KPMG Ukraine are pleased to present the results of KPMG report "Global Female Leaders Outlook 2023. Leading in times of polycrises". The report is based on a survey of women business leaders in Ukraine and around the world. A total of 839 female executives from 53 countries participated in the survey, including 30 women leaders in senior positions in Ukraine, representing various sectors of the economy.

Olena Marakenko shares her thoughts about the finding and confirms resilience and optimism Ukrainian female leaders are displaying:

“When we launched this survey, we did not expect that women in leadership positions would view this crisis with cautious optimism and be confident in the future growth of their organizations. According to the survey participants, digital transformation or its individual elements, the implementation of ESG strategies, and programs focused on IDE (inclusivity, diversity, and equity) can all create new opportunities for women in business”.
