Online event, the "Competent Boards Alumni Event Dedicated to the War Anniversary," presented by Competent Boards in partnership with invited members of Women on Boards Ukraine, showcased thought-provoking discussions and true leadership among its 50 listeners and encouraging contemplation on leadership in uncertain conditions.

Speakers Highlights:

Olena Malynska, Independent Non-Executive Director at LJS Ukrposhta, emphasized the importance of forward-looking leadership amidst challenges. She shared her invaluable insight: "We need a forward-looking view. We move on with reforms because there is never better time for reforms than now. Such forward-looking plans and vision give hope and sense to everyone around."

Olyana Gordiyenko, Corporate Governance Advisor at ICU Consulting, shed light on the demands of modern warfare, highlighting the necessity for agility in decision-making: "The hybrid modern warfare demands readiness for anything... We have to make decisions in the unknown and quickly."

Nadiia Kaznacheieva, Chief Investment Officer at umgi stressed the significance of clear and immediate communication during uncertain times: "We have to be prepared for clear and immediate communication for our employees' understanding that we'll do the right things to care about people's survival."
